  7. The Seller may grant the Buyer a discount at its discretion. The Buyer is not entitled to a discount unless otherwise agreed.

Article V – Delivery Conditions

  1. The Seller delivers Goods to the Slovak Republic, the Czech Republic, Hungary and other European Union countries offered as delivery destinations during checkout.
  2. The estimated delivery period is 3 to 10 calendar days. The delivery information displayed during checkout and in the Order confirmation shall apply.
  3. Goods are delivered: a) by a courier company selected by the Buyer during checkout to the delivery address provided in the Order; or
    b) by personal collection at the Seller's address, subject to prior agreement.
  4. The delivery method and delivery costs are displayed before the Order is completed.
  5. Delivery costs shall be paid together with the Purchase Price unless otherwise agreed.
  6. If delivery becomes impossible for reasons beyond the Seller's control, the Seller shall inform the Buyer without undue delay by e-mail and provide an estimated alternative delivery date.
  7. If the Buyer does not agree to the alternative delivery date, the Buyer may withdraw from the Purchase Agreement. Payments already made shall be refunded in accordance with applicable law.
  8. The Buyer is obliged to accept the Goods at the agreed delivery address. In the event of an unsuccessful delivery attempt, further procedures shall be governed by the courier company's terms and conditions.
  9. In consumer transactions, the risk of accidental loss or damage to the Goods passes to the Buyer only when the Goods are physically received by the Buyer or a person designated by the Buyer, other than the carrier. An exception applies where the Buyer independently commissions a carrier not offered by the Seller.
  10. Ownership of the Goods transfers to the Buyer upon delivery in accordance with applicable law.
  11. The Seller is not responsible for delays caused exclusively by the courier company, without prejudice to the Seller's statutory obligations towards consumers.

Article VI – Rights and Obligations of the Contracting Parties

  1. The Buyer is obliged to: a) pay the agreed Purchase Price, including delivery costs;
    b) accept the ordered Goods;
    c) inspect the Goods upon receipt for visible transport damage and completeness;
    d) provide the Seller with accurate and complete information.
  2. The Buyer is entitled to receive the Goods in the agreed quantity, quality and specification.
  3. The Seller undertakes to: a) deliver the ordered Goods in accordance with the Purchase Agreement;
    b) package the Goods carefully;
    c) provide the necessary documentation, including an invoice and, where applicable, assembly or user instructions;
    d) respect all statutory consumer rights.
  4. The Seller is entitled to receive timely payment of the Purchase Price and agreed delivery costs.
  5. In the case of personal collection, the Seller may verify the identity of the Buyer or the person authorised to collect the Goods.

Article VII – Right of Withdrawal and Return of Goods

  1. A Consumer generally has the right to withdraw from a distance Purchase Agreement without giving a reason within 14 days.
  2. The withdrawal period begins on the day the Consumer, or a person designated by the Consumer other than the carrier, takes physical possession of the Goods.
  3. The Consumer must clearly notify the Seller of the withdrawal within the statutory period. Notification may be sent by e-mail to info@woodendogbed.com or by another clear written statement.
  4. The Consumer may use the statutory model withdrawal form. However, using this form is not mandatory.
  5. The Consumer may inspect the Goods to the extent necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functionality. The Consumer may be liable for any reduction in value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary for such inspection, in accordance with applicable law.
  6. Following withdrawal, the Consumer must return or hand over the Goods to the Seller no later than 14 days after notifying the Seller of the withdrawal, unless otherwise agreed.
  7. The direct cost of returning the Goods is generally borne by the Consumer, unless the Seller expressly offers otherwise or applicable law provides otherwise. For Goods which cannot normally be returned by post due to their nature, the relevant return costs or an estimate shall be provided before the Purchase Agreement is concluded.
  8. The Seller shall reimburse all payments received from the Consumer, including the cost of the least expensive standard delivery offered by the Seller, within 14 days of receiving the withdrawal notice. The Seller may withhold reimbursement until the Goods have been returned or the Consumer has provided evidence that the Goods have been sent back, whichever occurs first.
  9. Reimbursement shall generally be made using the same payment method used by the Consumer for the original transaction, unless the Consumer expressly agrees otherwise.
  10. The right of withdrawal does not apply, in particular, to Goods made according to the Consumer's specifications or clearly personalised. The mere fact that a standard product is manufactured only after an Order has been placed does not automatically exclude the right of withdrawal.
  11. Other statutory exceptions to the right of withdrawal remain unaffected.
  12. Where legally permitted, the Consumer may withdraw from the Purchase Agreement in respect of individual Goods included in an Order.

Article VIII – Statutory Liability for Defects and Complaints

  1. The Seller undertakes to deliver Goods that comply with the agreed quality, quantity and specifications.
  2. The Seller is liable for defects that exist at the time of delivery and become apparent within two years of delivery.
  3. If a defect becomes apparent within this period, it is legally presumed that the defect existed at the time of delivery, unless proven otherwise or unless such a presumption is incompatible with the nature of the Goods or the defect.
  4. The Buyer must notify the Seller of a discovered defect within two months of discovering it and no later than the end of the applicable statutory liability period.
  5. A complaint may be submitted by e-mail to info@woodendogbed.com. The Buyer should include the Order number, a description of the defect and, where appropriate, photographs.
  6. Subject to statutory conditions, the Buyer is entitled to have the defect remedied free of charge by repair or replacement.
  7. If repair or replacement is impossible or disproportionate, the Buyer may, under the statutory conditions, request an appropriate price reduction or withdraw from the Purchase Agreement.
  8. The defect shall be remedied within a reasonable period, generally no later than 30 days from the notification of the defect, unless a longer period is permitted by law due to objective circumstances.
  9. The Seller shall bear the legally required costs of collecting and returning defective Goods as part of the remedy process.
  10. The Seller is not liable for damage caused exclusively by improper use, incorrect assembly contrary to properly provided instructions, mechanical damage or normal wear and tear.
  11. The Seller is not liable for defects about which the Buyer was expressly informed before the conclusion of the Purchase Agreement and to which the Buyer expressly agreed, to the extent permitted by law.
  12. Any voluntary commercial guarantee shall apply only if expressly and separately provided. Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Article IX – Alternative Dispute Resolution

  1. The Consumer has the right to contact the Seller first with a complaint or a request for remedy.
  2. The Seller will endeavour to resolve complaints promptly and amicably.
  3. If the complaint is rejected or the Seller fails to respond within 30 days, the Consumer may submit a proposal for alternative dispute resolution to a competent authorised body.
  4. In the Slovak Republic, the competent authority is, in particular, the Slovak Trade Inspection (Slovenská obchodná inšpekcia – SOI), where it has jurisdiction over the relevant dispute.
